Day 98 - Kitchen Goodies

Gillian's mum and Dad kindly got us these kitchen storage tubs and a banana tree as well as all the other great stuff they've got us recently.

Thanks very much.

Day 97 - Distant sky

Saturday night we stopped off at Gillian's mum and dads before going home. The sky behind the trees near their house looked amazing but alas I was unable to capture it front a decent view point. I'm thinking that maybe I could crop out the middle of the shot, I think I should definitely revisit this at some point.

Day 96 - Berries

I was just playing about talking shots outside the house in which we were staying when I captured these berries. I really like the colours in this picture.

On the way to Dundee we stopped in at Lower Largo where I managed to capture this cracking shot of the sea.

Day 94 - Roaring fire

One of the novelties of our accommodation was that we had an open fire. Here's a proud picture of one of the roaring fires I built.

Day 93 - Gilly at St.Andrews beach

We took a trip to St.Andrews and I managed to capture this shot of my lovely girlfriend on the beach. I really like this shot, I definitely need to play with Black and White more.

Day 92 - Watching the world go by

We took a walk along the Fife Coastal Trail from Elie to Anstruther. It was a lovely day with a perfect sky, along the way I caught this great shot of a couple sitting on a rock.

Day 91 - Neil in a bunker

We had a relaxing day on the Sunday and played amongst other things some golf. Here's a shot of Neil trying to get out of the bunker on the driving range.

Day 90 - Fireworks

On the first day of our holiday in Fife we went to a Fireworks display in Elie not long after we arrived. After a long drive I couldn't be bothered to take my tripod with me to the beach so most of my shots didn't turn out. However I did manage to catch this shot which I'm quite pleased with.

Day 89 - Our (new) Street

The sky looked quite cool so I thought I'd attempt to capture the mood of our street after a night out. Considering we'd been out for the evening and I didn't have a tripod this shot's OK but it's not particularly interesting.

Day 88 - Crazy clouds

This shot was somewhat of a last minute shot as I hadn't taken anything for the day so I quickly tried to grab these amazing clouds at dusk. Unfortunately I didn't have a tripod so the ISO is up full whack and the shot's pretty noisy.

I'm glad I managed to capture the the wild shape of the clouds at dusk.

Day 87 - Roger Stevens at Dusk

Last night there was a cracking night sky which unfortunately I was too late to get out of the office on time to shoot. I did however try to capture the atmosphere of dusk in front of the Roger Stevens at it came out pretty good.

Day 86 - Tree

Some friends of our kindly sent us a Hawthorne tree as a house warming present. Like the all the other gifts we have had this is wonderful and a superb idea. Thanks very much Fiona and Pete.

Day 85 - Autumn Leaves

My second and possibly better attempt at capturing the colours of Autumn. I took this first thing in the morning while walking through the car park at work. The weather conditions were great so it made the shot fairly straight forward.

This is the first of a number of house warming gifts we have received. This was from Neil and Suzanne in Australia. It's a lovely plant cheers guys, hopefully we'll see you soon.

Day 83 - The History Boys

On Saturday we took Gillian's mum and dad to see the History Boys at the Grand for her mum's birthday. Having already seen the film I was looking forward to the original stage version and it didn't disappoint.

Day 82 - Evening Sky

I tried to capture the evening sky in our front garden. I don't know whether I like this or not as it was taken in a hurry.

Taken as part of the speed shoot for the Leeds Flickr Group October click n sup. The shot was taken whilst attending the night event at St Johns Church on New Briggate.

The shot captures Mad Paul's camera set up for light writing shenanigans with the mag light torches provided for viewing the church.

Day 80 - Town Hall, again

Back to normal and back to work. I tried to take the town hall again, the result is better but the exposure still isn't quite right.
